Coaching FAQ

At registration each category director will have a sheet where you can fill out if you would like to be assistant or head coach. After teams are formed the directors will reach out to let you know if you've been selected as the head coach.  Assistant coaches are normally contacted by the head coach.

Yes, this year all coaches will require a police check.  The association will cover most of the costs.

Yes, without a doubt.  No NHL contracts are being handed out at our level and ideally we are more interested in the kids having fun and learning at the same time.

Including the head coach, six.  If the team would like to have more than six the team will be required to pay additional fees to have the extra coaches added to the hard card.  During a game the maximum number of coaches allowed on the bench is 5.
