Clinic Information & Registration
Coaches in Alberta have access to a wide variety of clinics and training opportunities to help develop their skills as teachers and instructors of players of all ages across the province.
Coaches can increase and enhance their knowledge by attending instructional stream courses offered by Hockey Alberta. These courses have been developed to offer coaches a practical session on teaching skills and tactics in areas such as skating, developing defence, goaltending and small area games.
Alway check the Hockey Alberta website for additional resources as well as coaching clinic updates, should any be added. However Hockey Alberta will most likely not add additional coaching clinics; register early. Confirm with the registrar - Anastasia Phills - to make sure course is needed as Knights Hockey Southside Association (KHSA) will reimburse you for the cost of the course if required for your coaching position.
Clinics are hosted across the province, beginning in September, and usually end mid November.
