Parent FAQ

You are not alone, most of us have felt this way.  Depending on what division your child is playing in (Discovery, Timbits, Novice, Atom or Peewee) there are Directors you can reach out to for information.  If you navigate to the "about us" page in the above menu, the director's contact information is there.  I would also recommend taking some time and look through newtohockey.com.  A great site for those who are new to hockey or just looking for a refresher as you've been away from hockey for a little while.

If you are starting out in Discovery and  Timbits you can usually find a Starter Set at Canadian Tire, Pro Hockey Life, SportChek,etc.

You can also use this Printable Equipment List for reference to see what you will need to suit your player up for the season.  Team will provide game socks but it is recommended that you also get practice socks as kids wear holes in the pretty quick sliding on the ice.  Yes that is normal... both the holes and sliding.  Kids will be kids.
